Fresno State University has selected its architect for the upcoming $80 million renovation to Bulldog Stadium. AECOM will be designing a four-phase plan to upgrade the football stadium with enhanced concession stands and restroom facilities. Additions to the facility will include suites, club lounges, a new press box, and new video board. Utility infrastructure will also be updated, and ADA seating will be upgraded.
Outside the venue walls, fan amenities will increase with the installation of Bulldog District, which will be programmed with various pregame activities and amenities.
Player amenities will be improved by a new football operations building, housing new locker rooms and office spaces.
Initial drawings from AECOM will be produced over the next quarter to be presented to California State University board of trustees for approval in the spring of 2017.
The project is expected to be completed in time for the 2019 season opener.
