All aspects of premium seating’s dynamic niche within sports and entertainment, from architecture and design, through to VIP access, innovative technology, products, solutions, and fit-outs will be dissected and discussed by a variety of high-calibre experts at the second edition of ALSD International.
In 2019, attendees will benefit from a comprehensive conference program, during which they will hear insights from a range of industry leaders as well as from technical tours and networking events at Aviva Stadium, the 50,000-seat home of the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU), and Croke Park, home of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), with a tour of the 9,000-seat (13,000-person capacity fully standing) 3Arena also in the works.
“At ALSD International, there was a particularly good mix of US, UK, and European input, with great content and case studies, without a sense of ‘The US does it best.’ It was really well positioned, and I’m looking forward to the next edition in Dublin this October.”
– Tom McCann, Arsenal Football Club
With an 82,300-seat capacity, Croke Park is Europe’s third largest stadium. The venue also offers 5,000 square metres of flexible event space across 110 rooms with Wi-Fi connectivity for up to 40,000 devices, all overseen through Croke Park Meetings & Events. Located just 15 minutes from Dublin’s airport and five minutes from the city centre, the stadium campus includes a 232-room, 4-star hotel, as well as a range of time-out activities, such as a 17-storey-high rooftop walkway. The award-winning Meetings & Events team has secured plaudits such as the Best In-House Events Team (2016, 2017, 2018) and the Best Caterer (2018) at the Event Industry Awards.
