Wasting no time, with no time to waste, the Tampa Bay Lightning began another upgrade of Amalie Arena the day after the Stanley Cup Finals ended. The arena’s club level is a focal point in this round of renovation.
With the exception of the Chase Club, the club level will experience a complete overhaul by creating new destinations, such as a bourbon bar, wine bar, dessert bar, and tapas-style concession area.
New loge seating is another major component of the renovation. This all-inclusive, midlevel seating offering will replace a section of club seats.
In order to finish the project in time for the start of the next hockey season, an accelerated construction timeline is in place. Crews have just 90 days to finish the job.
The arena improvements are a 50-50 joint investment by the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County, as well as Lightning owner Jeff Vinik.
