Bruce Ross is the Director of Suite Sales & Service for Silicon Valley Sports and Entertainment (SVS&E), the San Jose Sharks and HP Pavilion Management. He has worked at the facility since 1995, starting with ARAMARK Culinary and then transitioning into their Suites Catering operation. He was hired by SVS&E in 1999 as Suite Hospitality Manager and was promoted to Director of Suite Sales & Service in 2005. During his tenure, he has been responsible for all aspects of sales and service for the Executive Suite operations and has led the department to 100% occupancy each season and achievement of its annual revenue goals. As a response to economic conditions for the 2009-2010 Sharks Season, Bruce created a versatile new Per-Event Suite inventory called Penthouse Lofts from existing behind-stage suite locations which now offer seating for groups of 18 to 72 people. He also redefined the areas of responsibility for the full-time staff members in the department and meshed their separate Sales and Service roles into positions that now encompass both of these areas. He has developed acute knowledge of the arena business and industry, professional sports franchises, food & beverage operations, premium seating, and client management.
