Carolina Panthers donating old suite furnishings to charity

In the midst of a complete overhaul of their luxury suites, the Carolina Panthers are giving Habitat for Humanity more than 1,000 tables, chairs, stools, sofas, and mini-fridges from the 158 suites being renovated at Bank of America Stadium.

Habitat for Humanity is putting the items up for sale in its Charlotte-area ReStores to help benefit the charity’s cause of building houses for low-income homebuyers.

The Panthers estimate that the donated furniture, fixtures, and equipment have a total value of $75,000, which is enough to build an entire Habitat house.
