Citrix Systems to brand all 64 suites at HP Pavilion

Branding part of three year sponsorship deal worth $150,000 a year.

San Jose's City Council approved a 3 year sponsorship deal yesterday that will allow a Florida company to brand some seats at HP Pavilion.

Citrix Systems will be branding all 64 luxury suites at HP Pavilion with the company's name and logo. Citrix which sells products directly to other businesses has an office in Santa Clara. It's believed that the company wanted its name and logo in front of local tech executives who attend San Jose Sharks games.

The deal will cost the company $150,000 a year and it is the first time that the arena has had this type of sponsorship deal.
