Premium hospitality is a signature element of Globe Life Field. With a traditional home plate club, as well as two clubs and two additional unique destinations down the baselines, the ballpark’s lower levels swell with options for client entertainment.
“We have five premium offerings in the new Globe Life Field, which is a significant increase from the ballpark we’ve been playing baseball in for the last 26 years, Globe Life Park, where we had essentially one premium offering,” says Joe Januszewski, EVP and Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer for the Texas Rangers.
The volume and variety of options does not disappoint.
The premium portfolio opens with the Lexus Club, which serves as the traditional adjacency for ticket holders seated directly behind or near home plate. At Globe Life Field, that patronage is approximately 900 guests in the first eight rows with a taste for a luxury lifestyle.
The Lexus Club includes plush appointments and a full-service bar, providing guests with beer, wine, and spirts. In-seat food and beverage service brings the Lexus Club experience out into the bowl to those guests who do not want to miss a moment of the action.
“In all the clubs that we have, you can mobile order and then the experience can be brought to your seat,” says Paige Farragut, SVP of Ticket Sales & Service for the Rangers.
Also located behind home plate is the ballpark’s most intimate and exclusive club experience – the Balcones Speakeasy. As the name implies, this location mimics the fashionable social clubs made popular in the 1920’s prohibition era. Consistent with the theme, the speakeasy entrance is hidden from casual view.
Once inside, the approximately 300 guests from two seating sections with access to the club enjoy a dark palette of rich reds and blues, a fireplace, small plated food bites, as well as all-inclusive beer, wine, and other surprises. Sponsored by the Waco-based whisky distiller Balcones, fans will enjoy a different specialty cocktail every night.
Down the first baseline is our next stop – the StubHub Club, which services over 700 guests. This upscale experience is the lowest point of club entry at Globe Life Field in terms of contract commitment and cost. Fans in the StubHub Club also enjoy all-inclusive food and beverage, domestic and craft beer, upscale wine, and other premium amenities.
Evan Williams and Germania Insurance Lounges
Rounding out the hospitality destinations at Globe Life Field are the park’s most distinctive premium offerings. Situated underneath the seating bowl precast past the dugouts at field level is the Evan Williams Lounge (first base side) and the Germania Insurance Lounge (third base side), both club-like atmospheres but with apertures out to the playing field.
These spaces mirror each other in design, location, and uniqueness. Ticket holders in these spaces purchase half-moon tables accompanied by $120 table credits for three, five, or seven years with access to private bars, restrooms, and grab-and-go concessions.
The dugout lounges illustrate the ability of Globe Life Field’s premium locations to flex to additional events other than Rangers baseball. For example, during concerts, the lounges will be equipped with stairs, equipping those ticket holders with access to the concert floor and exclusive amenities.
“As we sell the floor, our best seat in the house for a concert, [floor seat holders] now have a premium experience to come back to, upgraded restroom facilities, a place to grab an upscale drink,” says Sean Decker, EVP of Sports & Entertainment for the Rangers. “We have a little bit of something for everybody, for baseball of course, but then as we talk about non-baseball events, the clubs and premium spaces create really unique fan experiences, whether it be for a concert or other event.”
