A Golden Oasis of Absolute Grandeur

A new premium experience arrives at the Fox Theatre Atlanta in 2017. The Marquee Club presented by Lexus combines unmatched food and beverage offerings, updated technology inclusions, and majestic design across three levels of indoor-outdoor space.

 

The guest journey is expanding at the Fox Theatre Atlanta. Bringing not only an interior premium space, but also rooftop destinations and enhanced food and beverage options, the new multi-level Marquee Club presented by Lexus builds on current aesthetics of the venue while offering patrons an entirely new experience.

“With the design, we wanted to not detract from the grandeur of the Fox Theatre, but we wanted to pay homage to it,” says Laura Zimbrick, Corporate Partnership, Premium Seating Manager at the Fox. “It’s a really beautiful space. Lord Aeck Sargent did an amazing job designing it for us.” 

After construction is completed in the fall of 2017, the Marquee Club presented by Lexus will carve out approximately 10,000 square feet of lush space, inviting seating, and five premium bars serving handcrafted cocktails. Additional club amenities include private restrooms, private entry, dedicated parking, and a dedicated ticket concierge.

“Inside the space, it’s just going to be a beautiful place to hang before the show and at intermission,” says Zimbrick.

The Marquee Club, as its name indicates, brings back a unique outdoor element – the rooftop terrace – that hasn’t been available at the venue for many years. In fact, the new space introduces two rooftop terraces in addition to a main floor and mezzanine level.

“People have associated the Fox with that marquee since 1929,” Zimbrick says. “So it’s a staple of the Atlanta skyline, and the rooftop terrace itself plays really well into being a part of the Fox experience. Getting to view the marquee close up is something that I think hasn’t been able to be done since the 50’s.”

The new experience that comes with the renovation includes food and beverage beyond the standard fare with wine on tap and “line-busting” technology inclusions for reduced wait times and seamless experiences.

But the guest experience begins long before a glass of Merlot at intermission. When member patrons find out about a show, they will be able to call a dedicated concierge to secure seats and reserve access to the Marquee Club presented by Lexus.

“Fast-forward to the day of the show, about 90 minutes before the show starts, they park in their designated space,” Zimbrick says. “They walk into their private entry where they are greeted by name, and then they walk into this golden oasis of absolute grandeur.”
