With the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks, and United Center since 1986, Greg Hanrahan is responsible for United Center’s premium seating sales, marketing, client service, administration, legal, financial, and operations. Premium Seating includes: the Executive Suites, BMO Harris Club, and Budweiser Theater Boxes for all Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawk games and all other events at the United Center. Hanrahan has been involved with 9 total NBA/NHL Championships with both the Bulls (6) and Blackhawks (3).
Greg began his career as a Chicago Bulls Tickets and Group Sales Representative and moved over to create and oversee the first-ever Shoot-The-Bull 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. In 1994, when the United Center was built, Greg managed the 216 Executive Suites which were the most suites in any indoor arena in the country at that time.
Greg currently serves on the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks and United Center executive technology and marketing committees. He also attends the monthly ownership meeting. Greg is a founding member of the Association of Luxury Suite Board of Directors (ALSD) and serves on the Executive Committee. In July of 2015, Greg was selected to serve as President of the ALSD with a three-year term. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Ohio University Sports Management School. Greg, 54, is a 1986 graduate of Beloit College in Beloit, WI with a B.A. in Government and Secondary Education. Along with serving on a variety of community boards and commissions in Lake Forest, IL over the past fifteen years, Greg served as a two term Alderman in the City of Lake Forest. Greg, his wife, Caryn (Advanced Technology Account Executive at CDW), and their three boys Casey (2013 graduate of Denison University and Account Manager at CDW), Connor (2017 Denison University and Anaheim Ducks Hockey Operations), Kyle (Levy at the Pepsi Center and Lifetime Fitness in Denver, CO.), and Blaze our dog (she sleeps all day at our home) reside in Lake Forest, IL.
