The Kroenke Group’s Hollywood Park Land Company has hired Turner Construction and AECOM to manage the construction for the Los Angeles Rams’ new Inglewood stadium. Plans call for the 70,000-seat venue to anchor 298 acres of mixed-use development.
The entertainment district, which is located on the old Hollywood Park racetrack site and adjacent land, will include a 6,000-seat performance venue, 890,000 square feet of retail space, 780,000 square feet of office space, 2,500 residential units, 300 hotel rooms, and 25 acres of public parks.
In terms of premium seating, the new stadium, designed by HKS, will showcase 275 luxury suites and 16,000 additional premium seats.
The Rams will begin play in the new venue in 2019. While it is under construction during the next three NFL seasons, the team will play its home games in the LA Coliseum.
