Levi’s Stadium handles 2.13 TB of wireless traffic

During the first 49ers game at Levi’s Stadium (a preseason game against the Broncos), the stadium’s data network was put to the test. It passed. At its peak, there were just under 25,000 fans on the Wi-Fi network at the same time. 2.13 total terabytes of data were communicated across the network during the game.

For context, consider that the 49ers do not even include data from the stadium’s DAS (distributed antenna system), installed for increased cellular coverage, in the 2.13 figure.
