The Milwaukee Bucks continue to progress in the direction of a new arena. Ownership has hired a team of architects, led by Populous, to design a world-class sports and entertainment facility in Downtown Milwaukee. The design group will also include involvement from HNTB and Eppstein Uhen.
“We are confident that this team has the expertise to create the ultimate fan-centric arena and a year-round public space, both of which will be integral to Downtown Milwaukee’s transformation,” said Bucks Co-Owner Wes Edens. “By hiring a design team to help create a vision for this development, we continue to work toward ensuring that the Bucks permanently remain a vital Wisconsin asset.”
Collectively, the team of Populous, HNTB, and Eppstein Uhen brings over 200 years of design experience.
While the Bucks are beginning designs for the facility now, a new arena still requires state and local government support.
