O2 is renewing its naming rights agreement with AEG for another ten years at The O2 in London – one of the world’s most successful music and entertainment venues. The deal has been reported to be worth £125 million and runs until at least 2027.
One highlight associated with the deal is a doubling of the number of tickets for O2 customers available via Priority Tickets, which provide access to tickets 48 hours in advance of the general public.
The O2-AEG partnership will also install new technology to track and analyze crowd movements with unique data, such as calories burned, noise generated by the audience, as well as the most popular moment of the night based on the crowd’s response. High-density O2 Wi-Fi will also be installed throughout the entire venue.
