The Oakland Athletics have announced plans to renovate the Oakland Coliseum. The organization plans to create three new premium areas and renovate two of its existing hospitality spaces.
The A’s plan is to create a half-moon-shaped social space called The Terrace which will provide 18, four-person tabletops to the ballpark’s third baseline. The club also plans to add 32 living-room-style lounge seats to the first baseline with the hopes of creating a high-class modern feel. The final new area will be the Coppola Theater Boxes which will feature four, four-person and four, six-person loge boxes behind home plate.
Along with the new options, the A’s will also be providing a facelift to the right and left field terraces which will be named the Hero Deck and the Oak Landing. The Hero Deck will feature two-, three-, and four-person table areas, while the Oak Landing will be more of a bar feel.
