The Philadelphia 76ers have opened their new training facility. And at 125,000 square feet, it is the largest such facility in the NBA.
Located across the Delaware River from Philadelphia along the waterfront in Camden, New Jersey, the complex features two buildings, one for training/practice and a second for business operations, which is still under construction.
New player amenities include a 2,800-square-foot locker room, high-tech performance and hydrotherapy rooms, as well as a restaurant.
Highlighting the business ops building is an Innovation Lab, which will support start-up companies in the sports and consumer product space.
Naming rights will not be sold for the new facility. Instead, five founding partnerships with Toyota, NovaCare, Virtua, NFI, and Kimball Office have been signed.
