Progressive Field to possibly add private terrace seating in upper deck

In a recent survey to Cleveland Indians fans, additions to Progressive Field’s Right Field District scored favorably. Referred to in past surveys as “social cabanas”, the Indians are studying the feasibility of bringing new products to right field similar to what has been brought online in recent years by other MLB teams.

One comparable destination is The Rooftop at Coors Field – a 38,000-square-foot deck in right field that features VIP cabanas, TVs, and entertainment along with three larger group areas that comfortably accommodate 40 to 60 fans.

For this project to happen, the Indians will have to replace the existing upper-deck boxes in right field that were put into place as part of Progressive Field’s most recent round of renovations. Those $77 million improvements were installed from 2014 to 2017 and funded by the Cleveland Indians and Delaware North.
