Rak has been in the food and beverage industry over 25 years. After graduating in International Hospitality Management he joined Marriott Hotels to pursue a life in hotels.  After 12 successful years in the trade, Rak decided to make a ‘once in a lifetime' career change and joined Sodexo Prestige to be part of the senior leadership team for the planning, strategic development and operational delivery for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympics catering services; public, hospitality, obligatory and workforce catering at the Olympic Stadium. Rak had the full responsibility for the operational delivery of a multi-million pound catering operation for the Olympic Stadium and was the one of the largest catering operations in the UK.

A project that spanned over three years, Rak took a 6 month career break exploring North and South America post Games. 

On his return Rak was approached by Rugby, Travel and Hospitality to head up the planning, management and delivery of the hospitality fulfilment programme on behalf of the Rugby World Cup 2015.  A role a little different to his previous roles in operations, Rak gained experience as the client, appointing catering service providers to run the programme.  Rak was responsible for the 10 key matches at Twickenham Stadium.   

With two of the largest tournaments under his belt, Rak joined Levy Restaurants as Projects Director, with his first assignment at The o2 supporting AEG with the delivery of a multi-million refurbishment programme of key GA areas.  During his time on the project, Rak was also involved in key hospitality space deigns with global partners Sky and The o2. 

Recently Rak moved into an exciting role within the sports arm Levy UK as Commercial Director, heading up the Business Excellence, Projects, Marketing and Innovation part of the business.  Rak also supports new business opportunities, retention and works alongside clients on strategy to support good commercial return through innovation, design and best practice.  A diverse role that gives him great exposure into the stadia, conference and arena market ensuring Levy remain market leaders in the UK.
