Target Field, the home of the Minnesota Twins, in downtown Minneapolis is set to install two new premium areas in time for the start of the 2016 season. The project is being designed by sports architecture firm Populous in conjunction with Mortenson Construction. The upgrades will include two levels of renovated space in the center field seating area.
CATCH, the venue’s exclusive club on the lower level, will include cutting-edge technology and entertainment, as well as all-inclusive food and beverage options. The area will be designated for select season ticket holders, and will house about 120 occupants.
The level above, which will be open to any ticket holder, will be a pub known as Minnie & Paul’s, and will include Minnesota-inspired food options and an overall Twins theme.
Demand for the new spaces is expected to be high, prompting the Twins to implement a random ticket-purchase process. Interested Twins fans must register for the process by November 18th.
