The much heralded renovation at the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, now called Tom Benson Stadium, has entered the critical final stages for its current phase. Construction must be complete in time for this year’s game on August 3rd when the Dallas Cowboys face the Arizona Cardinals.
Crews have started installing the club seats, known for their gold color (which matches enshrinee’s gold jackets), which indicates the finish line is in sight for this phase of the project.
Temporary bleachers and a scoreboard in one end zone will have to suffice for this year’s game, but the impermanent structures were expected for this phase. The Tom Benson Stadium renovation is part of a larger, ongoing $700 million project throughout the grounds at the Hall of Fame.
