The new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is finally a reality. After numerous delays, the wait for Spurs fans and industry onlookers is over. Its unique design features make it worth the wait for all the events the stadium will host, including Premier League matches, NFL games, and rugby union.
With a capacity over 62,000 seats, the new stadium is larger than White Hart Lane, Tottenham’s home for the previous 118 years, by 25,000 seats. The new home pays homage to its predecessor via the Centre Spot, a plaque built into the southeast concourse marking the location of the centre spot at White Hart Lane, which sits next door to the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Additional signature design features include the 65-metre-long Goal Line Bar, the 17,500-seat South Stand dubbed “The White Wall”, and the Tunnel Club adjacent to the players’ pathway to the pitch.
