Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins, will undergo its largest renovation to date this offseason.
Highlighting the nearly $15 million project will be a revamped Metropolitan Club, which post-renovation, will be accessible from the main concourse and open to all fans at the ballpark. Previously, the club was only open to season ticket holders.
The main concourse below the Metropolitan Club will also be upgraded, expanding to relieve a pinch point in the ballpark’s circulation.
The Minnesota Ballpark Authority has agreed to use up to $5 million from its capital reserve fund to help pay for the renovation, with the Twins paying the remainder.
