University of Wisconsin releases multi-year master plan to several of the universities venue’s including the Kohl Center, Camp Randall Stadium, and the Field House. When asked to rank the importance of the renovations, the Kohl Center surpassed the rest as they are motivated to enhance the opportunities for success of their student athletes before paying for a premium seating addition. The Kohl Center $48 renovation will included expanded strength and conditioning, academics, sports medicine, and sports nutrition areas to improve the student services of the facility. The master plan originally included a premium space incorporating a club space inside the Field House as the facility runs adjacent to Camp Randall but the idea was cut. Camp Randall’s renovation is still expected to cost at least $77 million as the university looks to add field level premium areas and other necessary changes. The master plan also includes renovations to the Field House, Nielson Tennis Stadium, Goodman Softball Complex, McClimon Track/Soccer Complex, and the university’s recreation centers.
