VIDEO: Detroit Pistons introduce Palace360

The final phase of a three-year, $40 million renovation at The Palace of Auburn Hills is nearing completion. Scheduled for completion in early November is the installation of a new audio-visual experience in the arena, dubbed Palace360.

Included is a center-hung, HD scoreboard, upper-level end zone boards, and tunnel entrance displays. The new scoreboard is 21-times sharper and three-times larger than its predecessor.

The new technology assets now allow the Pistons to integrate partner messaging and show game replays. Additionally, Wi-Fi has been upgraded and new proximity beacon technology has been installed, both required to operate the new Pistons Mobile App.
