Before the 2015-16 NHL season, the Winnipeg Jets will be renovating the ten-year-old MTS Centre. The team is spending $12 million on technology and seating renovations.
On the tech side, a new HD center-hung scoreboard with screens over twice the size of the existing ones will be installed, as will a new LED ribbon board. In-game production will also be updated with improved sound and camera angles, as well as a new control room.
MTS Centre will also have a loge area installed. The 278 seats in this semi-private environment will be available in groups of three, four, and six. Prices will be $134.40 per game with an additional $500 premium seat license fee.
