Integrating more than 23,000 square feet of LED video displays provided great improvement to the overall experience at Angel Stadium. Daktronics implemented the LED technology for the Los Angeles Angels, including the third largest display in baseball, featuring 9,500 square feet of digital space. The company also implemented a unique aspect, corner wraps, to the Angels main display in right field.
These corner wraps are an extension of the main video display, forming the appearance of a 3D rectangular box. Their benefits go beyond the interesting aspect ratio and the visual impression they provide. These wraps also provide appealing information and graphics to the fans sitting to either side of the display in center field or right field past the foul pole, even fans in the patio area near the display. This technology provides an additional way to brand the stadium for every Angels game and strengthens the team’s brand image at every event.
