In today’s concessions world, few things matter more to a fan than quick, efficient food and beverage service enabled by the fewest touch points possible.
Over the past three seasons, Aramark has added strategic, impactful technology to enhance the food and beverage experience at Empower Field at Mile High (home of the Denver Broncos), and today, no other US sports stadium has a larger presence of technology enabled concessions. It's not the stadium walls, LED screens, or futuristic walkways that make the 20-year-old building unique, it’s the combination of forward-thinking self-order and self-checkout technologies.
As of the 2021 season, 35%, or 25 of the 70 permanent concessions locations, are fully technology enabled and every seat in the building has access to mobile ordering for pick up and/or delivery of food and beverage or retail. Featuring 52 self-order kiosks at eight locations throughout the stadium, widespread mobile enabled ordering including in-seat club level delivery, concessions order and pick-up at eight specialty concept locations and retail in-suite delivery across more than 125 suites, 20 AI-enabled self-checkout machines located at six stands and the largest presence of fully autonomous, check-out free stores in any U.S. professional sports venue -- with nine total. These various technologies drive up to 30% more transactions during peak periods and the combination of experiences allow us to provide a near-seamless game day experience for fans to get their items and back to the game faster than ever before.
