Evan Gitomer serves as the President for The Strategic Sports Group (SSG), a boutique sports sales consultancy that specializes in helping sports teams, and the companies that work with them, generate maximum revenue. Evan brings over 20 years of experience in managing and selling premium ticket operations in professional sports. Prior to joining SSG, he spent six years as the Vice President, Premium Ticketing for Van Wagner which included management of projects for the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks and Texas Rangers. Under Gitomer’s leadership, the Texas Rangers sold close to $250M in contractual premium seat revenue for their new park, Globe Life Field. Similarly, the SunTrust Park project team he led sold over 4,500 Club and Premium seats for the new Braves ballpark, a 95% sell-through rate. In both instances, the team’s effort set new revenue benchmarks for MLB stadium openings. Previous roles for Gitomer include Premium Sales Director for the Orlando Magic, Director of Ticket Sales and Service for Sporting Kansas City while leading them into their new stadium, Children's Mercy Park, with the Brooklyn Nets kicking off the suite sales process for the Barclays Center and premium sales roles for the Arizona Coyotes and his hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
