Jeff currently serves as the Sr. Vice President for Sales and Ticketing for FC Cincinnati of Major League Soccer. He ultimately oversees all premium sales, suites, new business, group sales and service while managing the day to day operations surrounding all ticket revenues. Joining the club in 2015 as the 2nd employee, Smith has been instrumental in the build, design and launch of FC Cincinnati during their USL days and also their transition into MLS in 2019. In his role he has played a leadership role in the design and build of TQL Stadium and the ongoing development of one of the country’s most impressive soccer specific stadiums in America.
Prior to FC Cincinnati, Smith served as Associate Athletics Director at the University of Cincinnati for 15 years where he oversaw development, stewardship, ticketing and sales. During his time at UC he was helping to guide decisions around conference realignment, facility campaigns, and the overall management of the priority seating campaigns.
Smith also served as Director of Marketing and Promotions at Troy University where he oversaw partnership sales, ticketing and all marketing initiatives surrounding the university’s 4 year move to I-A football. During the transition Jeff led transformational development around facilities, sales and the university’s positioning in the college landscape.
A 2-time graduate from Ohio University he resides in Mason, Ohio with his wife, Lindsay and children Alexis (19), Austin (9) and Avery (6).
