J.P. Paul
VP of Corporate Development & Guest Relations
Minnesota Vikings

With the Vikings since 2003, J. P. Paul serves as the team’s Vice President of Corporate Development and Experience. In this role, Paul creates and executes new service initiatives to further enhance the relationship between the Vikings and their fans.  He also oversees the operational relationship with U.S. Bank Stadium’s food service, security and facility management providers.  Prior to his current role, J. P. led the Vikings’ Premium Seating Sales and Service efforts during the team’s years at The Metrodome.

Paul and his group play a key role in the team’s relationship with U.S. Bank Stadium, most notably by working hand-in-hand with Aramark (Stadium Concessionaire) and ASM Global (Facility Manager).  With an eye on Best-In-Class guest service for Vikings fans, Paul helped create U.S. Bank Stadium’s SKOL Service initiative which focuses on creating memorable experiences for Vikings fans and all U.S. Bank Stadium guests. Under his guidance, the Vikings launched their “Memory Makers” program, a first-of-its-kind in the NFL.  This initiative was developed specifically to provide Surprise-and-Delight moments for fans on game day, as well as at Training Camp and other Vikings events.  Along with his efforts in Guest Experience, he also works on a daily basis with ASM Global to create game day operational protocols and manage the implementation of the Vikings’ stadium improvement projects at U.S. Bank Stadium

Paul currently serves on the NFL’s Guest Experience Committee. This group was created to allow teams to share best practices and more actively communicate improvement strategies for the guest experience across all NFL venues.  Paul is a member of the Association of Luxury Suite Directors where he formerly served as the NFL’s Premium Seating Committee Chairman.  He was previously recognized by Junior Achievement of Minnesota as their Capstone Volunteer of the Year and currently sits on the Board of the InSports Foundation.

Away from work, he serves on the Board for the InSports Foundation and enjoys playing golf, basketball and softball. Paul played Division I baseball at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

J.P. and his wife, Megan, reside in Chaska with their three sons, Ryan, Matthew and Nicholas and their Golden Labrador, Colby.
