Tom joined Vancouver Whitecaps in late 2017, as the Club’s first Premium Sales Manager. He worked to build on an already robust group of clients and fans, helping support matchday operations and service at BC Place. Building out his team from 1 to 4 reps and adding dedicated service staff, he currently oversees the sales and service strategy of all multi-year suites and loge clients, single match suite holders and hospitality Club ticket members, focusing on driving a culture of extraordinary service, accountability, adaptability and community building, in all premium areas. The Whitecaps Premium portfolio represents three clubs, field side loge tables and a suite level.

Tom relocated to Canada from Australia in the summer of 2016 after going back to school to graduate from the Curtin University of Technology with a Post Grad in Project Management. Tom began his career in hospitality management working for groups in Australia and the UK, with institutions such as the Soho Hotel Group in London. On his return to Australia he transitioned into Marketing and Advertising Sales with one of Australia’s largest media companies helping local sports teams and international agencies connect with Australian audiences. With the move to Canada, Tom finally got his chance to put all his passions together with one organisation. Premium Sales & Hospitality allows him to bring together his passions and experience. He believes that sports organisations have the responsibility to be leaders in youth health and fitness, civic and civil causes, philanthropic endeavours, customer success and to be a point of pride of their city and state. For that reason, Tom is also an active member of his social committee, believing you can only achieve those things with great people who feel trusted, appreciated and aligned to the same mission.
